Your opportunity
A content writer is responsible for producing engaging written (and sometime video) content of interest to the audience of Hausples and MarketMeri.
You will be responsible for producing a wide range of content and over time build a team of specialists beneath you such as social media manager, video editors and photographers.
Key responsibilities
- Generating content ideas to provide value to the audience of MarketMeri and Hausples
- Researching (including interviews) for content articles
- Writing editorial style content to assist the audience to learn more about issue of interest, for example land titles in PNG or reviews of popular car models
- Writing advertorial style content for advertisers of MarketMeri and Hausples to convey point of interest to the audience and a commercial message for our advertiser
- Writing press release regarding points of interest for the business of MarketMeri and Hausples
- Covering breaking news stories of relevance to our audience when required
- Writing specific SEO style content
Key Requirements
- Tertiary educated
- Excellent writing and English language skills
- Writing experience, preferably as a journalist
- Outgoing and approachable
- Reliable
